School-based Curriculum Development
To align with ongoing educational development and strengthen the connection between junior and senior secondary learning, the school actively develops a range of school-based curricula, including Chinese History, History, Computer Literacy, Information Literacy Education, and STEAM Education.
To equip students for further studies, well-designed school-based modules have been incorporated into the English Language curriculum, while tailored teaching materials and exercises are provided across other core subjects at both junior and senior secondary levels. A progressive EMI approach, beginning with Mathematics in S.1 and expanding to Science and Geography by S.3, helps students develop the confidence and skills needed for senior-level learning.
At the senior secondary level, students can choose from a wide variety of elective subjects, opting for two or three according to their interests and strengths. To further broaden learning pathways and support career-oriented education, the school also offers Applied Learning (ApL) courses in S.4 and S.5, providing students with exposure to professional and vocational fields and smoother articulation to further studies.
